Whilst visiting Sibiu in June 2008, I was amazed at the show that unfolded in front of me and my partner, Luke, in the main square. We sat outside watching the square fill up as the night drew in. Then at about 10 p.m. we watched a massive whale swim in from the side street, high above the crowds while the music played.

We watched a whole show unfold titled 'The Pearl' and it was performed by the Plasticiens Volants. They were amazing and a selection of colour photos can be seen in the 'Dark Photography Places' gallery
